Music has the power to impact the lives of young people not just in terms of their creativity, but also their development of language, literacy and numeracy skills as well as their personal and social development.
It offers the opportunity to learn and excel in something new, make friends and make choices. In short, giving children the opportunity to engage with music is as essential as learning the alphabet, and yet sadly, many children in more deprived areas often miss out due to the costs involved.
Make Music Possible aims to bring free music-making opportunities to more than 100 children in years 4-11, from across Birmingham.

Why donate?
By donating to Make Music Possible, you will have an impact children and young people from low income famlies, helping them feel part of something special, giving them the opportunity to develop their music and creativity skills.
Children from low income familes often miss out on opportunities due to circumstances outside their control.
Children benefiting from the project will also have free loan of their chosen instrument and regular in-school music lessons.
They will also have opportunities to join our Music Ensembles, take part in performance and complete music exams as part of their journey and experience things that they would otherwise miss out on.
