Our Music Ensembles work with nearly 4,000 young musicians a year, offering free instrument loan, tuition and rehearsals, as well as performance opportunities in amazing venues such as Birmingham Symphony Hall, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Royal Albert Hall.

From initial auditions, to instrument loan and repairs, tuition from experienced staff, rehearsals and performances, being in an Ensemble helps develop musicians for the future:

But did you know that it costs between £150 – £350 a year for each individual place?

By becoming a Friend of Our Ensembles, you will be supporting each of the young musicians involved, giving them the opportunity to develop their passion and talent for music.

These terms and conditions form the basis of the contract between Services For Education Limited (SFE), and Customers. Customers are subject to and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

In these terms and conditions the following definitions apply: 

Services For Education means the charitable company SFE Ltd, organiser of the golf day.  References to “SFE”/“we”/”our” are to Services For Education.  

Customer means any individual who signs up to become a ‘Friend, ‘Good Friend’ or ‘Best Friend’ as part of Friends of Our Ensembles. Customers must be 18 years old or over to book.

Friend means one of the Friends of Our Ensembles level of support option.


Membership

Sign up to Friends of Our Ensembles must be made via our website – Friend of Our Ensembles – Services For Education.

By signing up to being a Friend of Our Ensembles, the customer accepts our privacy policy.

All payments for must be paid directly to Services For Education.

Membership and payment is valid for 12 months from the date of signing up. Renewal notices and relevant links will be sent within 30 days of membership expiry.

Friendships are non-transferrable and all benefits and can only be used by the named ‘Friend’.

Services For Education Limited Ltd reserves the right to refuse or terminate Friendship at any time. Should this occur, fees are non-refundable except in extreme circumstances.

Please allow up to 28 days for processing Friends applications.


Price & Payments

Friendship ranges from £36-120 per year, depending on the level chosen.

Payment must be made through credit or debit card, details of which are stored on a secure online payments system.  Card details are not retained by Services For Education. 

The Friendship prices are fixed and non-negotiable.

Services For Education operates an event booking ‘cooling off’ period of 14 days from the date of the booking. During this period, you may cancel your booking at no charge in line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. At the end of this period, cancellation charges will be applied, equating to the full booking cost.


Benefits

The current benefits are listed on the webpage Friend of Our Ensembles – Services For Education and in the welcome correspondence to Friends. Please note, benefits are subject to change, and Friends will be notified accordingly. The most up to date benefits will be listed on our website.

Where applicable, benefits will be sent in a timely manner;

  • Pin and tote bag, within 28 days of signing up.
  • Termly updates, at the end of each academic term.
  • Discount codes and booking info, in a time relevant to the event, once booking is open

Booking discounts as part of ‘Good Friend’ and ‘Best Friend’ levels are subject to availability, booking processes using a specific code and restrictions, as notified via email.

All discount codes are exclusive to Friends of Our Ensembles only and should not be shared, or used, by anyone who is not an official Friend. As a Friend, you are agreeing to not share this link or discount codes. Anyone in breach of this will have their Friendship revoked with no refund.


Communications:

We will use email to communicate Membership information, including upcoming events, as this is the quickest and most efficient form of correspondence. If you would prefer to receive communications through the post, please contact fundraising@servicesforeducation.co.uk.

Friends are responsible for providing accurate contact details and updating these as necessary.

If you wise to stop receiving email communications and notifications, please contact fundraising@servicesforeducation.co.uk.


Force Majeure

Services For Education shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any of its obligations if the delay or failure results from events or circumstances outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God (other than one arising from or related to directly or indirectly from volcanic ash), strikes, lock outs, accidents, war, fire, breakdown of plant or machinery, pandemics and Services For Education shall be entitled to a reasonable extension of its obligations.


Severance

If any term or provision of these Terms and Conditions is held invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason by any court of competent jurisdiction such provision shall be severed and the remainder of the provisions hereof shall continue in full force and effect as if these Terms and Conditions had been agreed with the invalid, illegal or unenforceable provision eliminated.


Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and the parties hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.


Entire Agreement

This Agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties relating to the subject matter and supersedes any previous agreements, arrangements, undertakings or proposals, oral or written. Unless expressly provided elsewhere in this Agreement, this Agreement may be varied only by a document signed by both parties.


Personal Data 

Services For Education will use the Customer’s name(s), address, telephone number, email address and payment details (your Personal Data) to process your booking. We will only use your Personal Data in accordance with our privacy notice which is available to view on our website at:

Our privacy notice also contains details of your right to withdraw your consent, to update your preferences, to request further information, and to make a complaint.

Complaints:

If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our SFE Charity Golf Tournament level of customer service or our performance of this agreement, please send your complaint in writing to fundraising@servicesforeducation.co.uk.

Any determination made by Services For Education arising from the Terms shall be final. 

If your complaint is not resolved by us, or if you remain dissatisfied, you may use the Online Dispute Resolution service which provides alternative dispute resolution. You are not obliged to use this service and it does not affect any other rights or remedies that you may have, but it is free to use and may assist you in resolving your dispute quickly and easily.
